The DCD796 is a great drill capable of completing all professional jobs. This drill is great for wood up to 40mm. And it is suitable for most “softer” materials.

Compared to the DCD996 the DCD796 will obviously be the cheaper option. This is great news if you’re in the market for a simple all-purpose drill.
