The DEWALT DCD996b hammer drill is our second favorite hammer drill. This model is a bit older compared to the DCD999b. However, we believe it is still a relevant drill to this date.

If you are looking for a DEWALT hammer drill on a budget, this is probably the best option for you. It has a max. speed of 2250RPM and a powerful 2.5 AMP motor.

If you are not a tech fanatic, and always want the latest and greatest, we think this rotary hammer drill is a very valuable pick.

The only downside we can think of with the DCH263b is the cord that it needs in order to get power. If you don’t need the functionality of a cordless hammer drill this is by far the best DEWALT rotary hammer drill on the market.
