Do you love DEWALT as much as we do but you keep wondering how you can get the most out of your power tools? The solution is probably scaling up to a stronger battery. But what is actually the biggest DEWALT battery?

The biggest, and strongest DEWALT battery is the DEWALT FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX* Battery with 12.0-Ah (DCB612). This battery will last the longest on a single charge and is ideal for all DEWALT tools.

12.0-Ah DEWALT Flexvolt battery

DEWALT 12.0-Ah Flexvolt battery (DCB612)

our score: 9.6
  • LED power indicator
  • Longest operating time
  • Compatible with all 20V Chargers
  • Strongest DEWALT battery

Which DEWALT battery do you need?

The question you have to ask yourself is if you really need all the power a 12.0-Ah battery has to offer. Of course, these batteries are great for large power tools like hammer drills or angle grinders. However, for smaller tools like an impact driver, a 6.0-Ah battery is often sufficient.

6.0-Ah batteries are much cheaper than 12.0-Ah batteries. Here is a small table of tools and their optimal battery choice:

60-volt Hammer drill12.0-Ah
DEWALT Chainsaw12.0-Ah
60-volt Angle grinder12.0-Ah
Normal Hammer drill6.0-Ah
Impact driver6.0-Ah

You can read how much we love DEWALT Flexvolt batteries but the best thing is to try them out yourself. We are sure you will fall in love with them!
